Last updated: [DATE]

The short version

If you send us an enquiry, we use your details to reply to you and, if we end up working together, to run the project. We don't sell your data, we don't use tracking cookies, and you can ask us to delete your information at any time.

Who we are

Kinsella Studio is run by [YOUR FULL LEGAL NAME / COMPANY NAME AND NUMBER], [REGISTERED OR BUSINESS ADDRESS], Sheffield, UK. We are the “controller” of the personal information described here.

Questions about your data: hello@kinsellastudio.com.

[ICO registration number: ZXXXXXXX — if applicable.]

What we collect

When you use the enquiry form or email us, we collect:

  • your name and email address;
  • your business name, if you give it;
  • what your enquiry is about and anything you write in your message.

Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically logs basic technical information (such as IP address, browser type and pages requested) to keep the site secure and working.

How and why we use it

  • To reply to your enquiry and discuss your project — because you've asked us to (steps before entering into a contract) and it's in our legitimate interests to respond.
  • To deliver work if you become a client — to perform our contract with you.
  • To keep records we're legally required to keep, such as invoices — legal obligation.

We won't add you to a mailing list or send you marketing unless you've clearly asked us to.

Who we share it with

To operate the website and deliver enquiries, submitted information is processed by these services:

  • Replit — hosts the website and runs the server-side contact form;
  • Resend — delivers contact-form submissions to hello@kinsellastudio.com from Kinsella@caterapps.co.uk;
  • [Email provider] — hosts the hello@kinsellastudio.com inbox.

Some of these providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, they use recognised safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or adequacy regulations.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that don't lead to a project are deleted after [12 months]. Client records are kept for as long as we work together and then for [6 years] to meet tax and legal requirements.

Cookies

This website doesn't use advertising or analytics cookies, and our fonts are hosted on our own server, so no data is sent to third parties just for visiting. [If you add analytics later, update this section.]

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal information, to restrict or object to how we use it, or to send it to you or someone else. Just email us — there's no charge, and we'll respond within one month.

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, please tell us first. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.

Changes

We'll update this notice if anything changes and show the date at the top.
